Welcome

I am a Teacher in training or a pre-service teacher as we are known in Australia. I hope you like alliteration because I do and so the name TeacherTumbles was created. I have had a major tumble just recently but I managed to pick myself up again and bounce back. Do not think I have a negative view of teaching because that is not the case but now as I approach the halfway mark of my teaching degree, I have surpassed the honeymoon period and have realised how stressful teaching can be, but at the same time how rewarding it is when you get through to your students and you have them enthralled in your speech there is no greater feeling.

I will post some of the tumbles I have encountered when I have been out practice teaching. But most importantly I will try to draw connections between the many experiences we have in everyday life and how they can be applied to teaching and learning because this in my mind is extremely essential in terms of education as the big picture!
